    Norman William Hansen, 78, of Eden, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Patterson, NJ, he was the son of the late William Hansen and Catherine McMahon Hansen. Norman was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who made a lasting impression and formed inseparable bonds with his community and church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling across the country in his RV with his wife. He was a talented Locksmith and Auto Body and Outdoor Power Equipment business owner.     Judge Alfred Burka died on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at University of Maryland Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Chestertown, MD. He was 86. Judge Burka was born on February 27, 1928 and was raised in Washington, DC. He attended Georgetown University and Georgetown Law School and briefly practiced law before going to Korea as a combat infantry officer, where he was awarded his second bronze star with “v” for valor.
