    Eva M. (LeBlanc) Allain, 87, of 69 Baker Street, Gardner, died peacefully Monday, January 19, 2015 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, surrounded by her family, following a period of declining health. Born in Gardner on March 13, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Melina (Allain) LeBlanc. Eva was raised and educated in Gardner. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. She was a telephone operator for the New England Telephone Company for several years, and later was employed by Simplex Time Recorder Company of Gardner as an assembler until her retirement.
