Mrs. Audrey F. Zahniser

Denton, MD: Audrey F. Zahniser, 83, of Denton died on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Compass Regional Hospice in Centreville. Mrs. Zahniser was born in Federalsburg, MD on September 25, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Earl Williamson and Hazel Trice Williamson. She was employed for over thirty years with Murdoch Gardens as a floral designer. She enjoyed gardening, and was an avid walker. She was also a faithful member of the Easton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness. Mrs. Zahniser is survived by her daughter and caregiver; Jean E. Depew of Denton and another daughter; Linda Emory of Easton, two sisters; Lorraine Fairbank of Easton, and Irene Passwaters of Federalsburg, a grandson; Jesse Wheeler of St. Michaels, and a great-granddaughter; Addison Marie Wheeler. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of forty six years; Arnold J. Zahniser, and a brother; Kenneth Williamson. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A., 200 S. Harrison St., Easton, MD 21601. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park on Route 50 near Easton.
