    Former Dundalk resident David L. Hoppe died Jan. 17 in West Bend, Wis., with his wife Cindi by his side. He was 58. Family and friends knew him as “Dave.”
   {reg}Born and raised in Dundalk, the son of the late Robert and Delores Giardini Hoppe graduated from Dundalk High School in 1974. He met his future wife Cindi Hennes online in July 2003. The couple were married in 2012 in Grafton, Wis.
    He was a self-employed software developer and owned Apogee Development Inc. He enjoyed sailing, soaring, flying radio-controlled planes, camping, vacationing in Cancún and celebrating the Fourth of July. He was a talented keyboardist, according to a family member, and played in several bands
    “Dave was a generous and kind person who opened his heart to his family,” a loved one said. “He will be greatly missed.”
    As well as his  second wife, survivors include Paszkiewicz, and Amber Schultz and brothers Richard R., Barry A. and Donald P. Hoppe. First wife Patricia L. Hoppe preceded him in death.
    A memorial service was held at Phillip Funeral Home in West Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to the
