Norma Lee Kinnamon, 76, of Centreville, MD passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at her home. She was born on October 7, 1938 in Ridgely, to the late Clarence J. and Rose Kibler Smith. Lee, as she was known by friends, attended Greensboro High School. She married her husband Lemuel in 1954 and became a dedicated home maker for her family. She was an avid bowler and a member of the Thursday morning league for 50 years. Lee enjoyed spending time at the beach and with her family and friends. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister Joanne Garrett and husband Bobby and nephew Doug Garrett. She is survived by her husband Lemuel C. Kinnamon, Jr., children James A. Kinnamon of Centreville, Judith Hollett of Galena, Richard Kinnamon of Ridgely, Terri Mattern of Denver, CO, Sandra Kennedy of Kennedyville and Pamela Price of Sudlersville, sister Rose M. Bowman of Greensboro, 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, Feb. 1st, in the Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, where a visitation will be on Saturday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Burial will follow the service in the Greensboro Cemetery. The family suggests that donations in Lee’s memory be made to the fire company of your choice.
