    Mr. Richard Louis Alvaro, 69, of Laurel, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Seaford Center Genesis. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Frank Francis Alvaro and Ida Marie Iannuzzi Alvaro and the husband of the late Katherine Price Alvaro. “Stoney” worked as a transportation supervisor for the Head Start program for 9 years, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed gardening, wood working, cooking, and playing pool.      Charles M. Shryock, III (“Lucky”) of Seabrook, Maryland died peacefully in Washington, D.C. on September 24, 2015.  He was 67.  As he battled a series of medical complications over the last four months, he was assisted by many health professionals and friends, for which his family is grateful.  Charles is survived by his wife Catherine; sons Charles IV (wife Julia) and John; granddaughters Nolla Mae and Mathilda; siblings Mary, Susan, Douglas, Cathy, Michael, Martina, Clare, and Bernadette; and forty-five nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents Charles Jr. and Frances Yoder, and siblings Frances, Steven, and John.
