    Dorothy “Dot” Marie Mitchell, 94, of Cordova died peacefully on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at her home with family at her side. She was born in Cordova on March 24, 1922, the daughter of the late Alfred Asche, Sr. and Alma Mueller Asche. Mrs. Mitchell graduated from Cordova High School in 1939. In May of 1941, she married James Walter Mitchell Sr., a dairy farmer. Since 1953, they resided at Bluff Point Farm in Cordova.
