Born November 20, 1924 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Carlton W. and Edna L. Bucy Todd. She was the wife of the late George Saunders. Betty had worked at USF&G and was a homemaker for most of her life. She was one of the original members of Bethany Lane Baptist Church in Ellicott City.
