Survived by daughter, Diane Marie Sullenberger, and son-in-law, Scott Antonides, of Arlington, VA.   Worked as secretary for the State Department. Lived in Accra, Ghana; Bodicote, England; Wheaton, MD; Manassas, VA; and Venice, FL.     Leonard Vincent Gilleo

    On February 13 2019, Leonard Vincent Gilleo passed away at the age of 71 after a courageous battle with cancer.  Lenny, as he was known to virtually everyone, was born on April 4th, 1947, in Boston, Massachusetts.  He moved to the DC area as a youth, eventually settled in Northern Virginia, and went to barber school.  He married, had children, and over time found himself rooting for the Redskins.  He considered Arlington and Falls Church home.    Lenny is survived by the love of his life and wife of 40 years, Vivian Gilleo, and by four grown children, Don, Mark, Jessica, and Jeff, and twelve grandchildren.  He considered the title of…

    Margaret Imogen Rose

     The incomparable Imogen Rose, teacher extraordinaire, Her Brilliance, died last Thursday night in Washington (March 5, 1923 – February 7, 2019).  Her love, intellect, wisdom, wit, rigor, sense of fair play, and her marvelous sense of humor infused generations of her students at The Potomac School.  She made Latin exciting.  Her bright, shining spirit lives on in her students and in all who had the great good fortune to know her.  Godspeed, dear lady.
